Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi PDO Poggio Novo has a good structure to be tasted young which gives its best if consumed within the year of production.
- Characteristics:on the nose it has a fresh smell, fragrances of ripe fruit and wildflowers with a perceptible hint of bitter almonds, dry and soft, to deliberately favor its freshness. Its right alcohol content, with an excellent intensity and persistence, goes very well with the well perceptible acidity and flavor, typical of wines to be enjoyed in youth. It is obtained from the vines in the Classical production area of Verdicchio in the Municipality of Poggio San Marcello.
- Pairings:Perfect with crustacean appetizers, bivalve molluscs and seafood salads are an essential part of his court.
