Montefalco Rosso Bio by Antonelli is a red wine produced with Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Montepulciano grapes in the municipality of Montefalco in the province of Perugia.
- Harvest:The harvest of Montefalco Rosso grapes begins in September with Sangiovese and ends in October with Sagrantino and Montepulciano. After a careful selection of the bunches and a soft pressing - destemming, the fermentation takes place on the skins at a temperature of 28 degrees. Aging in oak barrels for 12 months and in bottle for 6 months follows.
- Characteristics:It is a ruby red wine, the nose has an intense aroma of wild berries; on the palate it is dry, balanced and with a good structure.
