Chickpeas are among the typical products of value of the agri-food heritage of the Umbrian Marchigiano Apennine ridge. The chickpeas of our producer are small, smooth and rounded and it is precisely for these characteristics that they are distinguished from the more common chickpeas, rough on the surface and with a more elongated shape. They are very tender and with a good protein content and low fat. Our chickpeas have the characteristic of keeping their peel intact after cooking, making them also suitable for the preparation of haute cuisine dishes while maintaining an excellent taste.
