Venetian dominions

Domìni Veneti is the emblem of quality wines from Valpolicella Classica and Veronese. It represents the most authentic expression of a well-defined territory from a geographical and historical point of view. Since 1968, the "Valpolicella Classica del vino" has been designated as the production area of Valpolicella Doc wines, a territorial area that includes the Municipalities of the Historical and Geographical Valpolicella. The Classical mention distinguishes the historic area from the so-called "enlarged" area, which includes the territories east of Verona. A very large territory, therefore, but also well identified, which together with the varied and particular properties of the native vines (Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, Dindarella, Oseleta, Rossignola, Negrara, Forselina), the profound respect for the land and to traditional production techniques, determines the absolute originality of Valpolicella wines. This is nature's heritage, to be made to flourish with respect. The name Domìni Veneti refers to the territories belonging to the Serenissima Republic of Venice in the 16th century, in its period of greatest grandeur, of which Valpolicella was an integral part. The splendor of that era is recalled in the values of Domìni Veneti, whose production is refined and exclusive, thanks to a heartfelt, passionate and incessant viticultural-oenological project which aims to enhance the wonderful typical oenological features of our territory.
