Speri winery

Among the most historic families of Valpolicella, the Speri company is an authoritative and faithful interpreter of the wines of Valpolicella Classica, which has become, due to its continuity and its strong roots in the territory, a point of reference for Italian enology. The history of the company begins in the first half of the 19th century and today the Speri family has reached its seventh generation with an extension of approximately 60 hectares of vineyards in the most suitable areas of Valpolicella Classica. The strength of the company has always been and still is the teamwork which today sees three generations involved - Carlo, Alberto, Giampaolo, Giampietro, Laura, Chiara, Luca and Giuseppe - in managing the production activity in all its phases, from the vineyard to the bottle. After years of sustainable agriculture, in 2015 the company obtained organic certification for all its production. Respecting the territorial heritage, the Speri family has always cultivated only native Valpolicella vines (Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and other indigenous varieties), vinified exclusively the grapes coming from their own vineyards and followed the entire production process.
