The Rosso di Montepulciano Sabazio from the La Braccesca winery of the Antinori family is a Tuscan wine made with an important base ofi Sangiovese , to which a small percentage of Merlot to make it softer, rounder and more fruity. It is a medium-bodied red, vinified exclusively in steel, which ages for a few months before being put on the market. The profile retains the typical varietal face, characterized by fragrant fruity aromas and an immediate expressive freshness, which makes it particularly pleasant to drink. It's a young red and very flexible in table combinations.
- Method : Merlot generally comes harvested in the first weeks of September and about a month later we proceed with the Sangiovese. The grapes comedestemmed and pressed softly, then doneferment Andvinified separately following the different ripening periods. Only later do we proceed to assembly definitive. Before bottling, the wine matures in stainless steel tanks for about 4 months.
- Features : The Montepulciano Sabazio from the Tuscan winery La Braccesca dei Marchesi Antinori is a pleasantly fresh and simple red, suitable for drinking throughout the year, in order to better appreciate its youthful fruity fragrance. In the glass it comes with an color rather intense ruby red. To the nose opens on floral notes of violet rose, fruity aromas of ripe cherry, plum and small red berries. To the palate it is smooth, with a juicy and crunchy center of the mouth and a fresh finish, with a good persistence of taste.

The Estate
The Sabazio wine is a Rosso di Montepulciano that is born in the vineyards of the Marchesi Antinori La Braccesca estate, a vast property purchased in the 90s. La Braccesca is located on the border between the Val di Chiana and Cortona areas and the lands of Montepulciano, in a still uncontaminated area full of woods. It covers an area of over 500 hectares, of which 340 are destined for vineyards. The climate and soils have proved to be perfect for the red berried varieties, which express themselves on excellent quality levels.vi.
