Five different vineyard plots, all 1er Cru, gave life to Paul Goerg's “Vintage” Champagne cuvée. Left to rest in the bottle for no less than six years before disgorgement, it is a Brut that combines richness, aroma and complexity like few other Champagnes are able to do. A truly excellent bottle, which will accompany you perfectly even during the most formal occasions.

  • Characteristics : The color is light golden yellow, with subtle, elegant and long-lasting perlage. Story Paul Goerg

Champagne Paul Goerg belongs to one of the few winemakers in Champagne. It was born way back in 1950 when 8 families of winemakers from Vertus decided to join forces and share their vineyard together. Today, representatives of the Collard, Faucheret, Férat, Rogué, Grégoire, Doquet, Gallois and Pougeoise families still have the same passion for Champagne and are actively present on the company's board of directors. Located in Vertus, in the heart of the famous Côte des Blancs, Paul Goerg's DNA is Chardonnay, the rarest and most sought after grape variety in Champagne. In fact, due to its slow maturation, it is particularly suitable for long aging. When young, its delicacy shows floral and mineral notes. It is also characterized by freshness and liveliness. As it ages, it will become more complex and rounded. Chardonnay, which accounts for 85% of our vineyard, is the rarest and most sought after grape variety in Champagne. In fact, due to its slow maturation, it is particularly suitable for long aging. When young, its delicacy shows floral and mineral notes. It is also characterized by freshness and liveliness. As it ages, it will become more complex and rounded. The Paul Goerg company boasts a 120 hectare vineyard almost exclusively planted with this vine, a symbol of finesse and elegance. This vineyard guarantees Champagne a constant supply of the highest quality grapes. Produced mainly from Chardonnay, it benefits from aging well beyond the legal requirements (minimum 4 years for non-vintage and 8 years for vintages) and a low dosage. In this way they express the finesse, elegance and complexity of Chardonnay.
