Here we are in front of a Pas Dosè 100% chardonnay, born both on the hills of Pressano and in the Val di Cembra, where the heights reach up to 700 meters. The harvest begins at the end of August and ends at the beginning of September, and the grapes are processed in steel containers in which the temperature is kept under control. The sparkling wine remains on the lees in the bottle for 36 months, where the magic of Trento DOC comes to life in its entirety. Finally, once the disgorging operations are finished, it rests for another 6 months in the silence of the cellars of San Leonardo. The “Marchesi Guerrieri Gonzaga” is an elegant bubble, endowed with that identity character that immediately leads back to the terroir of the wonderful Trentino mountains.
Straw yellow, slightly tending to gold, on the nose it opens up to wrapping floral hints, which then leave room for the usual aromas of yeast and pastry. It enters the mouth with a medium-bodied sip, characterized by a marked acid shoulder - which favors the flow of the drink - and by a tasty minerality.
