Fruit nectar is the result of squeezing fruit with consequent separation of the pulpy part. The fruit is washed shortly after harvesting and blanched in order to obtain a puree which is then diluted in water and to which organic beet sugar is added. Apricot nectar is among the most popular for its particular sweet and slightly sour taste.
