"The Pinot Blanc by Hofstätter is a pure expression of this mountain vine in the sign of elegance, harmony and balance. The Hofstätter label comes from the vines grown on light soils, composed of calcareous-clayey marl, which constitute a perfect natural habitat for this delicate variety.

  • Method : The entire production process to make Pinot Blanc is based on the utmost respect for the delicacy and finesse typical of this grape. At the end of the manual harvest phase, the best bunches are taken to the cellar to proceed with soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wine matures only in steel and cement, to preserve its fruity freshness and its expressive purity intact, without any interference from the wood.
  • Features : Hofstätter's Pinot Bianco is presented in the glass with a beautiful straw yellow, intense and brilliant. The olfactory picture is characterized by the proverbial refinement of the vine, with delicate notes of white fruit and light floral aromas. On the palate it surprises for the velvety harmony of the sip, which combines with great balance the fruity aromas with the right freshness, pleasant and never excessive. A label that makes purity the winning card.
  • Pairings : Appetizers of land, First courses of land and second courses of white meats.

J.Hofstatter Cellars

For five generations our family has cultivated its vineyards on both sides of the Adige valley. Located in the heart of the historic village of Termeno, our estate stretches between the peaks of neighboring Trentino and the steep slopes of the Saar, in the Moselle wine-growing region of Germany. We combine tradition, pioneering spirit, respect for nature and innovation. We love what we do: we live the wine. The different terroirs and the different microclimates determine the character of our wines. For five generations we have been cultivating each grape variety where it can express itself at its best. Our owned vineyards extend on both sides of the Adige valley and at the end of the Ronchi Valley in Trentino. Since 2014, we have been producing our Rieslings in Moselle, the wine-growing area of Germany most suited to this noble variety in the world. Our vines have their roots on plateaus and hills at altitudes ranging between 250 and 850 meters. Depending on the slope on which they are located, the rows are reached by fresh mountain breezes or warm southern winds, by the morning or evening sun. Ours was the first South Tyrolean company to put the vineyard on the label, identifying the wines that come from individual vineyards, in the most suitable particles.e.
