The family

Negro family

Since 1670 we have been cultivating vineyards on the Roero hills and working to best interpret the potential of this corner of Piedmont, dedicating our wines to the prestigious native vines, each valorised in its own identity. The passion that animates our profession and the relationship of love and respect that deeply binds us to the territory have ancient origins. Ours is in fact a historic family, proud of its roots and proud guardian of a precious heritage of knowledge and traditions. The extract from a cadastral register found in the archives of the municipality of Monteu Roero offers testimony to the over 3 centuries of history that bind us to these lands. From it we can deduce that in 1670 "Giovanni Dominico Negro, son of Audino" was the owner, in the same area where the Perdaudin farm with its prestigious vineyards is located today, of a house with oven, threshing floor, cellar and rows of vines.
