The Vette di San Leonardo IGT blanc comes from a careful selection of sauvignon blanc rigorously harvested by hand and when perfectly ripe, usually during the month of September.

  • Tasting : Slightly aromatic, pleasantly fruity, its character reflects the complex minerality and great freshness of those splendid mountains. It is a delicious Sauvignon Blanc to say the least, which will leave your guests delighted if you choose to uncork it during a dinner with friends.
  • Features : From the classic colorful straw yellow color to the eye, with subtle greenish reflections.
To the nose the olfactory bouquet is particularly aromatic, characterized by floral memories of yellow rose, by references to white peach and passion fruit, and by shades of green pepper, sage, talcum powder and mountain herbs.
The volume on the palate it is compact and of good consistency, as is the freshness. Excellent length and mineral closure.

RECOMMENDED COMBINATIONS: Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with both grilled and smoked fish dishes, white meats, cold cuts and soft cheeses.

San Lonardo - The cellar

In the old fermentation cellar there are the tanks built exclusively in concrete.

Here our red wines ferment spontaneously, without the aid of any technology or selected yeasts. Fermentations last on average no more than 15/18 days during which multiple pumping over and delestage are performed.

After fermentation, the tanks are drawn off and the pomace gently pressed under the watchful eye of our cellarmen, who have handed down the craft for generations.
