Champagne obtained using the champenoise method, which involves fermenting the wine in the bottle, and using Pinot Noir grapes from Grand Cru vineyards in the Champagne region.
Characteristics Intense pink color with golden reflections, which derives from the contact of the must with the skins of the Pinot Noir grapes during fermentation. The nose is very complex and presents aromas of berries such as strawberry, raspberry and blackcurrant, with floral notes of rose and a touch of spice. In the mouth it is elegant and full, with a pleasant acidity that makes it perfect as an aperitif or paired with fish or shellfish dishes. The peculiarity of this Champagne Brut Rosè Grand Cru Egly Ouriet lies in its artisanal production process, which involves refining for at least 36 months on the yeasts, giving it an aromatic complexity and a structure that increase its taste persistence.

Maison Egly-Ouriet

The history of the Egly-Ouriet house dates back to 1930, when Francis Egly, the grandfather of the current owner, purchased some vineyards in the Ambonnay region of Champagne. The winery only began producing quality sparkling wines in the 1980s, under the guidance of Francis' nephew, Francis Egly-Ouriet, who had studied oenology and had gained extensive experience in producing wines in other wine regions of France. Francis Egly-Ouriet decided to focus on the production of high quality Champagne, using traditional techniques and respecting the high quality grapes coming from his own vineyards as much as possible. Over the years, the Egly-Ouriet house has consolidated its reputation as one of the most prestigious Champagne producers in the region, earning numerous recognitions and awards. Today, the Egly-Ouriet house is managed by Francis' son, Pierre Egly, who has continued the family tradition of producing sparkling wines of great refinement and complexity. The winery produces around 100,000 bottles per year, using only high-quality grapes from its own Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards located in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs.
