Le Mortelle Estate

Fattoria Le Mortelle is located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, a few kilometers from Castiglione della Pescaia, in an extraordinary and fascinating position both for nature and for the history of the places that surround it. Since 1999 the family has worked both on the vineyards and on the new winery with the belief that the area, still emerging in the Italian wine scene, is highly suited to the production of quality wines and that here the characteristics of the terroir and of the cultivated varieties. The farm extends over 270 hectares of which 170 are planted with vineyards. The Antinori family has always been present in these lands. In 1863, a patrimonial deed mentions Poggio Franco, one of the most suitable vineyards on the estate, among the possessions, together with other parcels of land.
