Dal Forno Romano Cellar

It is difficult to believe that Dal Forno continually manages to offer exceptional wines, with notable tannic structure and balanced acidity, with a truly superlative softness. Yet it is exactly like this, harvest after harvest. Romano Dal Forno was born in 1957 in Capovilla, a few kilometers from Illasi. Precisely in this environment, where wine is a philosophy of life more than a product, the family has been taking care of its vineyards for four generations now. The turning point in his life and work occurred at the age of 22, when he met Giuseppe Quintarelli, who became an enlightening guide for him: he opened his eyes to a new way of producing wine and planting vineyards, making him realize the importance to focus on quality rather than quantity.

The early days were characterized by many difficulties, but the union of the family and the contribution of Romano's sons, Marco, Luca and Michele, led the winery to quickly become an absolute point of reference in the world of wine. For years, thanks to the commitment of the entire family, the company has achieved standards that are difficult to match, with the persevering aim of offering unique emotions and pleasures to anyone who drinks a Dal Forno product. A winery that tells the story of a territory and its traditions: an absolute point of reference.
