A historic white, introduced in 1931 by Marquis Niccolò Antinori, capable of representing the Tuscan territory through the union of traditional and non-traditional grapes and a fresh and elegant bouquet but with a strong character.

  • Tasting : Villa Antinori Bianco has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose it is intense and fine: sensations of orange blossom combine well with fruity aromas reminiscent of pineapple, Golden apple and banana. On the palate it is fresh, pleasantly tense, characterized by an enveloping taste and a mineral finish.

The must obtained was cooled to a temperature of 10°C to favor its natural clarification; after 48 hours it was transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place at a temperature not exceeding 18°C. The wine was stored in steel tanks at a temperature of 10°C until bottling in November 2022.

Villa Antinori estate

It was 1928 when Niccolò Antinori decided to call this wine after the name of the family villa so that it represented his personal interpretation of the Chianti and Tuscan identity. Thus writes Niccolò, father of Piero Antinori, describing the birth of the "Villa": "Then it was necessary to affirm the name Antinori... which was still, except in some circles, little known and so I proposed the wording Villa Antinori". Villa del Cigliano, located among the rolling hills of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the province of Florence, is a place that has always been linked to the family; it is here that generations of Antinoris were born and lived starting from 1546, the year in which Alessandro di Niccolò Antinori became owner of the building. Villa del Cigliano is the symbol of history, identity and family continuity; it is here, in a certain sense, where it all began, where the Antinori family began to take its first steps in the wine sector. Villa del Cigliano expresses the same values and feelings born in 1928 with Niccolò Antinori with the "Villa". This is why it is represented on the label of Villa Antinori, the symbolic wine of Casa Antinori. During these years, in almost a century of history, Villa Antinori has represented and represents, through a contemporary style, the concept of home, of territory, of Tuscany. A wine born from a way of conceiving wine production: as experimentation and evolution on the one hand, as historical value on the other.
