For over a century, the San Michele Appiano winery, with 320 families of winemakers and 385 hectares of vineyards, has been taking care of the most important wine-growing community in Alto Adige: Appiano sulla Strada del Vino, located at the gateway to the Dolomites. This guarantees the highest quality, naturally stimulating the biological balance of the soil and the vine, which has a huge impact on the entire ecosystem of the terroir, the most important capital of winemakers.
