Villa Antinori Pinot Bianco comes from the best vineyards of Tenuta Monteloro, on the hills of Fiesole, behind Florence. An area rich in history and with a high vocation for white wines, where this historic label finds new expression.

  • Vinification: The harvested grapes, which were vinified separately by vineyard to preserve their territorial identity, were destemmed and softly pressed. The must was cooled to a temperature of 10°C to promote natural clarification. After 48 hours it was transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place at a temperature not exceeding 16°C. The wine was then stored in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 10°C until bottling, which took place from the end of March 2022.
  • Tasting Notes : Villa Antinori Pinot Bianco has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose is intense: notes of tropical fruit, such as pineapple, combine with pleasant sensations of pepper and nettle. On the palate it is fresh, lively and tasty, with a mineral finish.

Villa Antinori estate

It was 1928 when Niccolò Antinori decided to call this wine after the name of the family villa so that it represented his personal interpretation of the Chianti and Tuscan identity. Thus writes Niccolò, father of Piero Antinori, describing the birth of the "Villa": "Then it was necessary to affirm the name Antinori... which was still, except in some circles, little known and so I proposed the wording Villa Antinori". Villa del Cigliano, located among the rolling hills of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the province of Florence, is a place that has always been linked to the family; it is here that generations of Antinoris were born and lived starting from 1546, the year in which Alessandro di Niccolò Antinori became owner of the building. Villa del Cigliano is the symbol of history, identity and family continuity; it is here, in a certain sense, where it all began, where the Antinori family began to take its first steps in the wine sector. Villa del Cigliano expresses the same values and feelings born in 1928 with Niccolò Antinori with the "Villa". This is why it is represented on the label of Villa Antinori, the symbolic wine of Casa Antinori. During these years, in almost a century of history, Villa Antinori has represented and represents, through a contemporary style, the concept of home, of territory, of Tuscany. A wine born from a way of conceiving wine production: as experimentation and evolution on the one hand, as historical value on the other.
