Firriato Terroir Authentic

In Trapani, at the end of the 1970s, Salvatore Di Gaetano started what is now one of the most important wineries in Sicily.

Over 400 hectares of vineyards, divided into 6 different estates, one of which is located on the slopes of Etna, one is located on the island of Favignana, while the others belong to the province of Trapani.

La Cantina: when innovation and technology enhance the value of nature. The keystone of Firriato's success rests on an ineluctable axiom: perfect and meticulous care in all aspects of the production cycle from the vineyard to the cellar. Firriato, over time, has been able to conquer a place in the elite of the brands most appreciated by international wine critics and consumers since it has become the guardian of a great depth and high quality ampelographic heritage that it has managed to put to good use with unique wines for complexity and production style. Harvest after harvest, the challenge was to be able to maintain high standards of excellence, with the scruple of enhancing the unique characteristics of each type of grape from exclusive production contexts.
