Special selection of Torre di Giano, Lungarotti's Vigna Il Pino was one of the first Italian whites aged in wood, as early as the 1970s, long before the fashion that would have affected much of the world of Italian wine. A cut of trebbiano and of grechetto , typical varieties of the area, which in the glass stands out for its length and depth. Elegant and refined, it is a wine whose name recalls the Roman origins of Torgiano as evidenced by the tower dedicated to Janus, the two-faced god.
- Features : Straw yellow with greenish reflections. To the nose it is fruity, with long and intense aromas with clear citrus hints, white flowers and fresh fruit salad. To the palate it is dry, with a good structure, has a fragrant evolution with a delicate acidic vein and a long aftertaste.
- Pairings : For the whole meal, it goes well with fish and shellfish, soups and broths, creamed pasta and risottos, especially if based on truffles, vegetable flans and white meats in general.
