From Ferrari Trento's obsession with excellence, an exclusive Trentodoc that expresses the vibrant intensity of mountain Pinot Noir.

  • The 2004 vintage: 2004 was characterized by a mildly mild winter, followed by a suitably rainy spring. These climatic conditions contributed to uniform budding of the vines and excellent health of their shoots. The summer that followed was marked by limited rainfall and below-average temperatures, a factor that facilitated the agronomic management of the vineyards. Furthermore, this situation made it possible to reach the harvest without grape health problems. The month of September concluded the season with beautiful sunny days, offering ideal conditions for grape harvesting
  • Tasting : Very small bubbles, delicate and lively, which light up the glass with their golden hue. On the nose, it presents itself as a large and diversified box, offering aromas of rennet apple and cedar peel, with floral nuances of daisy and lily, accompanied by fascinating marine and spicy accents. On the palate, it stands out for its aromatic complexity, emphasized by a subtle effervescence. Memories of citrus fruits, nuts and vanilla mix harmoniously, all supported by a pleasant saline note. The 2004 vintage of this exceptional Trento DOC wine manifests itself as a balance between softness and freshness, toastiness and elegance, and persists extraordinarily long in the aftertaste.

History of the Ferrari winery

The Ferrari myth was born from a man, Giulio Ferrari, and his dream of creating a wine in Trentino capable of competing with the best French Champagnes.

He is a pioneer: he is the first to understand the extraordinary vocation of his land, he is the first to spread Chardonnay in Italy. He begins to produce a few very select bottles, with an obsessive cult for quality.

Ferrari

Having no children, Giulio Ferrari is looking for a successor to whom he can entrust his dream. Among the many suitors he chooses Bruno Lunelli, owner of a wine shop in Trento. Thanks to his passion and entrepreneurial talent, Bruno Lunelli manages to increase production without ever compromising on quality.

Bruno Lunelli

Bruno Lunelli passes on the passion to his sons: under the guidance of Franco, Gino and Mauro, Ferrari becomes a leader in Italy and the Italian toast par excellence. In recent years, some of the labels destined to go down in history saw the light of day: Ferrari Rosé, Ferrari Perlé and Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore. The third generation of the Lunelli family keeps the Ferrari dream alive. Marcello, Matteo, Camilla and Alessandro lead the company together with an extraordinary team with the aim of innovating in the wake of tradition, bringing Ferrari to the world as an ambassador of the Italian Art of Living.
