This red, capable of being remembered for its long and tasty finish, comes from the vineyards of the Valpolicella Classica. Delicate scent reminiscent of almonds and violets. The dry, soft and well-structured flavor surprises the palate with a burst of cherries and plums.

  • Features : Valpolicella Classico Superiore is a pleasantly aromatic wine, with a velvety and elegant structure, able to combine freshness and body in the glass, showing its best features with its fruity fragrance. Ruby red, it releases aromas of ripe sour cherry, red flowers, anise, licorice and tobacco. Warm and soft but well supported by acidity, it has refined tannins and a beautiful persistence with fruity tones.
  • Pairings : Valpolicella goes very well with meat, remember that a tasty and substantial dish must be accompanied by an equally important wine. With polenta with meat sauce, with roast in the oven with potatoes and with medium-aged cheeses.

Zenato Winery

95 hectares in the most suitable areas of Lugana and in the classic area of Valpolicella. Two faces, one white, the other red, both emblems of quality wines that arise from the visceral passion for the territory, from respect for time, from a family tradition that has valued local varieties for over 60 years. 1960, San Benedetto di Lugana. This is where Sergio Zenato's heart begins to beat. His is a story made of passion and work; full identity with its territory and its people; entrepreneurial ability and openness to innovation with new winemaking techniques and investment in native vines. A story that from the shores of Lake Garda has reached the hills of nearby Valpolicella, where the company's reds are born from the sunny vineyards of Corvina and Rondinella in Costalunga, in the municipality of Sant’Ambrogio.
