A true flagship of the Bastianich winery, the "Vespa Bianco" is a wine created to highlight the power and evolution that a single great Friulian white can achieve. It is in fact a bottle capable of transcending the sum of its parts, confirming itself as a wine of complexity And longevity out of the ordinary, the one that certainly best represents all the work of the famous winery of Cividale del Friuli .

  • Features : Straw yellow, alnose immediately expresses a great territorial adherence thanks to a bouquet composed of notes of wild flowers and citrus fruits that blend well with mineral and slightly honeyed tones. Inmouth it is dry, quite soft and decidedly balanced thanks to an excellent acidity. An engaging and convincing wine that closes with a very clean aftertaste for a decidedly persistent finish.
  • Pairings : Fresh and rather structured, Bastianich's "Vespa Bianco" is a wine that goes perfectly with small samples of cured meats and cheeses.

Bastianich Winery

The wine we drink has an intense history, it is part of a tradition with very deep roots and often travels the whole world to reach our table. The Bastianich company, founded in 1997, consists of 27 hectares of vineyards. All the vineyards are located on the Colli Orientali del Friuli, in two distinct areas falling within the DOC area. The history of this land has deep roots. Viticulture in this region has been practiced since the 2nd century BC. , with the advent of the Romans who first planted the vine. The millenary tradition, the particular clayey-marly soil called "ponca" and the numerous microclimates created by the winds of the Julian Alps and the proximity to the Adriatic Sea make the Colli Orientali del Friuli region one of the most suitable in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is these unique characteristics that allow the wines of this Doc to be particularly elegant and mineral, with a strong character that fully communicates the terroir.
